The Bloc: ICSC Cocktail Mixer & Booth Design
The Bloc hosted both a booth at ICSC 2017 and a welcome mixer for the industries' visiting guests. The purpose of this booth was to engage new partners and hold meetings with property owners, agents, investors, and more. The space brought modern comfort vibes featuring both a meeting space and a communal seating space in which to browse company literature. A cornerstone to this design was a small scale art piece that featured imagery from The BLOC: past: present and future. This art piece was joined by two others for their mixer, which also included custom cocktails, curated charcuterie, handmade centerpieces and photo experiences. cARTel consulted on the aesthetic goals for the booth, handled the ordering and deliveries of the furniture, designed and commissioned custom signage and giveaways, and executed its set-up and strike at the conference center. Our team handled the production and staffing of the mixer, designed and commissioned the art installations, and consulted and liaised on food, music, and vendors.
