Amidst a convention floor of booths, new tech, media ideas, social change start-ups and more, it can be quite a sensory experience! We were commissioned to bring an interactive art installation to this festival as a place for attendees to pause, connect, and regenerate. Here, the Book Bubble invited guests to come take a seat on a cozy pillow or in a big-kid chair, and peruse books and stories. At the center of this space was the Zine Library, an interactive writing space where blank or prompt-filled books encouraged guests to contribute to each others’ work, leave a poem or a memory, or even draw together.
